VALLEJO, Calif. –
The first of two head-to-head matchups this season will take place at the College of Alameda Wednesday night when Cal Maritime ends it season-long five-game road swing at Lincoln (CA).

The return game will take place inside PEAC Main Gym February 18 in CSUM's penultimate game of the season, which doubles as the team's final non-conference game of 2024-25.

Even though the Keelhaulers enter on a four-game slide, it just completed a brutally challenging portion of their season. After dropping road games at UC Santa Cruz and Academy of Art, NCAA opponents that compete at the Division III and Division II levels, CSUM faced a pair of nationally-ranked foes last weekend in its lone tournament of the season.

Even though it currently sits fourth within the Cal Pac Conference standings, it is fair to say that no conference team played a tougher schedule than Cal Maritime.

Following this matchups against the Oaklanders is a near-two-week hiatus before opening a brief two-game homestand vs. Dominican (Dec. 2) and Park Gilbert (Dec. 5).

Through the first six games of the year, Cal Maritime is lead by Jaz Novelli, Aysia Santos and Jameelah Pharms, three dynamic players who are averaging double figures: 13.7, 11.5 and 10.5 points per game, respectively.

Novelli's scoring average places her fifth among all Cal Pac players; she also leads all Keelhaulers in rebounding at 4.5 per game.

Cal Maritime is the second of three Cal Pac opponent in a row for Lincoln (CA): After defeating Pacific Union on November 4, in their last appearance, the Oaklanders will host the Keelhaulers before traveling to UC Merced five days later.

Games against La Sierra and Simpson will take place during the first week of December; Lincoln (CA)'s final game versus a Cal Pac squad is set for mid-February in Vallejo.
