Five Keelhaulers named to Cal Pac’s 2023 Fall All-Academic Team

VALLEJO, Calif. – Anjali Sharma (women's cross country), Nolan Bronstrup, Michael Lapinski (men's cross country), Nathan Witte and Jasen Nicolas (men's soccer) were recognized by conference officials as members of the California Pacific Conference's 2023 Fall All-Academic Team. 

Sharma, Nicolas and Witte earned this distinction during their senior year; Bronstrup and Lapinski are juniors.

Of the Keelhaulers' quintet, Bronstrup, Nicolas and Witte are majoring in mechanical engineering; Sharma is working towards her degree in international business; Lapinski is a marine transportation major.

The Cal Pac's announcement caps a memorable week for Nicolas since the conference bestowed its Champion of Character honor to him on November 9.

 For each of the league's five fall teams, 10 student-athletes were selected from respective nomination pools based on the following criteria:

• Sophomore academic standing or above
• One fill year of residence at the nominating institution
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50
