2024-25: Student-Athlete Council team representative... Began his position as an assistant coach after completing the requirements for/earning his undergraduate degree following the fall semester.

2023-24:
DAKTRONICS NAIA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... Competed in all four tournaments and posted the team’s lowest individual score at each event... Responsible for the team’s lowest three-round tournament score by finishing tied for 16th (231) at the Cal Pac Conference Men’s Golf Championship (4/15-17) ... Shot a 151 at the two-round PCH Fall Invitational (10/30-31) to finish tied for 11th... Ended the PCH Spring Invitational (2/12-13) in 45th place with an overall two-round score of 174... Responsible for the best individual finish of the season, among all Keelhaulers, when he tied for ninth place, by shooting 145, at the Simpson Invitational (3/25-26).

2022-23: 
CALIFORNIA PACIFIC CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Competed in all four tournaments… Fired the lowest (Got Soule Golf Classic – 69), third- (CSU Maritime Invitational and California Pacific Conference Men’s Golf Championship - 73) and seventh-lowest Got Soule Golf Classic and Pacific Coast Highway Invitational – 76) individual rounds of the season for the Keelhaulers… Season-best tournament score took place at the Got Soule Golf Classic (4/3-4) with a 145 (+1)… Lowest three-round result took place at the California Pacific Conference Men’s Golf Championship (4/18-19; 229/+13)… Ended the league's year-end playoffs in sixth place... Placed 11th at the Pacific Coast Highway Invitational (10/31-11/1) with a 158 (+16) and tied for 14th at the CSU Maritime Fall Invitational (10/17-18) with a 151 (+11). 

Personal: Majoring in mechanical engineering... Graduated Benicia High School in 2021... High school honor roll includes Rookie of the Year (2018), Green Valley Country Club Junior Invitational championship (2019), first place at the AT&T Pebble Beach Blackhorse Thanksgiving Championship (2020), Blue Rock Springs Jr. Championship (2019), Diablo Valley Junior Championship (2018), AT&T Pebble Beach Blackhorse Championship (2019) and The Johnny Miller Junior Championship 1st place (2021 Silverado GC), second place at JGANC Moffett Field Winter Classic (2020), third at the Green Valley Country Club Junior Invitational (2017)... Varsity Athletic Award selection... Two-time TCAL Boys' Golf champion... Chose Cal Maritime due to proximity to home and hands-on education and chance to play golf at the collegiate level... Interested in pursuing a career in fire fighting, machining and/or professional golf... Roots for Viktor Hovland... Enjoys ring and jewelry... Bonding with teammates during road trips are his favorite memories as a cadet-athlete... His aunt, Lisa Hyland, was a member of Washington State's women's golf team... Plans to move to Texas after earning his undergraduate degree and pursue a career in supply chain management... David Goggins is one of his heroes because "he inspired me to be misunderstood. I don’t want people to be able to relate to me because then I know I haven’t put in enough work."... Viktor Hovland is another hero because he is a great golfer and possesses a great outlook on life, which allows him to live with a good attitude on and off the golf course... This Ben Hogan quote is meaningful to him: "As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round."
