Cal Maritime Men's Rugby — 2025 Schedule


VALLEJO, Calif. – Three road games, another three events at home and another to be determined comprise Cal Maritime's 2025 regular season schedule, as announced by head coach Sean Lindersmith on Tuesday.

Action begins on January 25 when the Keelhaulers head to Fresno State for its season opener. That matchup is the first of three straight on the road since they will head to Reno on February 1, to face Nevada, before making the short trek to Stanford the following week (Feb. 1).

Each of these road contests will begin at 1 p.m.

Arizona State will visit Bodnar Field on February 22 for rugby's home opener, a home event that will recognize former CSUM head coach Steve Hiatt for his contributions to the program throughout his tenure. 

Cal Maritime's homestand continues throughout the inaugural weeks of March when rugby hosts Chico State (March 1) and San José State (March 15), the latter taking place on the program's Senior Day.

All home games will commence at 1:30 p.m.

Postseason action will begin on March 29 with an opponent that will be determined in the weeks leading up to that event. Locations and game times are also TBD, visit GoKeelhaulers.com during the week of March 24 to discover all information pertaining to the NorCal Playoffs.

Depending on how the Keelhaulers fare during its initial playoff games, additional games will take place at the Regional Playoffs, on April 5, and Regional Finals, set for April 12.

This year's battle for the national title, at the College Rugby Championship, is slated for May 3.
