VALLEJO, Calif. – A busy week is on tap for Cal Maritime following last weekend's season opener with four games taking place within a week-long timespan, starting with Wednesday's road game against Jessup.

Once the Keelhaulers return from Rocklin, they will have one full day to prep for Friday's Cal Pac Conference opener in Redding, against the Simpson Red Hawks, before returning home for a mini homestand that includes Sunday's conference home opener vs. Soka and Tuesday's non-conference home contest against Menlo.

Cal Maritime is Jessup's fourth Cal Pac opponent within its last five played, a stretch of action that started in late August with losses against UC Merced, Simpson, and continued on Labor Day with a 2-2 draw at Pacific Union.

Of the Warriors' first seven games played, only two took place on their home turf in Rocklin. After defeating the College of Idaho in its August 25 home opener, Jessup (formerly known as William Jessup) dropped its last home event, played four days later vs. Simpson.

Including its pair of preseason scrimmages, CSUM is the 10th game of Jessup's season and the first of three straight taking place at Warrior Field.

These schools are squaring off against one another for the second time since the 2014 season; last year's non-conference matchup at Bodnar Field marked the first time since October 25, 2014, these teams participated in a head-to-head event.

Less than 48 hours after kickoff takes place in Rocklin, Cal Maritime will head to Redding for its inaugural Cal Pac Conference clash of the season when it faces Simpson in its conference home opener.

Last week, the Red Hawks opened league action with a win at Antelope Valley followed by a draw at La Sierra. This is SU's first home game in just over two weeks; its last event at Simpson Soccer Field took place on August 27 against the College of Idaho.

Two days after visiting Redding, men's soccer will compete in its Cal Pac home opener when Soka wraps-up its Northern California weekend road trip in Vallejo. While the Keelhaulers are busy battling the Red Hawks, the Lions will open its weekend at Pacific Union.

Soka will head north following a split of its inaugural pair of league tilts, both taking place at home in Aliso Viejo. Shut out by Park in last Thursday's Cal Pac opener, SUA rebounded with a 1-0 win against Benedictine Mesa.

Soccer-palooza will conclude Tuesday night when Menlo visits campus for a brief respite from league action. Following this home game against the Oaks, the Keelhaulers will embark on a challenging weekend road trip with stops at Embry-Riddle and Westcliff before playing three of their following four games on home soil.

Undefeated so far this season with a 3-0-2 overall record, Menlo will head to Jessup prior to visiting Vallejo on September 19. Combined with a home game on the 23rd, these are the last group of games for the Oaks before opening conference play at the end of the month.
