
Lapinski leads Keelhaulers at Bronco Invitational
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – As part of a deep field of over 300 runners at the Bronco Invitational, hosted by Santa Clara, Michael Lapinski led a quartet of Keelhaulers with his time of 29:30.0.
Just over two minutes separated Lapinski from the next pair of CSUM finishers when Kye McKeown and Andrew Scannell completed the 8k course at Baylands Regional Park in Sunnyvale, California, in 31:49.5 and 34:12.9, respectively.
Caleb Silbernagel posted his fastest 8k result of the season by crossing the line in 37:44.6, nearly 90 seconds faster than his previous season best recorded at the Jessup Invitational.
Off throughout the upcoming weeks, Cal Maritime will continue training for the Cal Pac's year-end postseason meet, slated for Monday, October 30, at Woodward Park in Fresno, California.
