ALAMEDA, Calif. - Cal Maritime continued their three match road trip as they traveled to Alameda to take on Lincoln University (CA) at College of Alameda. The Keelhaulers fall to the host Oaklanders 4-2.
The Keelhaulers would score in the first half but the Oaklanders would counter. The two teams would be tied 1-1 at halftime.
In the second half, the Keelhaulers would score again. However, the Oaklanders would apply pressure to the Keelhaulers' defense and would score three times in the second half for the final tallies.
The Keelhaulers had a season high 11 shots. Three Keelhaulers (Amanda Carvalho, Hayden Carter and Ciara Kelly) each had three shots apiece.
Kate McGowan had nine saves for the Keelhaulers.
The Keelhaulers will start California Pacific Conference play on Sunday in Riverside as they take on La Sierra University. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
