REDDING, Calif. – Ciara Kelly ended Tuesday morning's Cal Pac Conference match at California Soccer Park in Redding with a team-high two of Cal Maritime's three shots — Amanda Carvalho recorded the other — and the fourth goal of her career when her shot on goal found the back of the net in the 23rd minute.
Earning her second career start in goal for the Keelhaulers, Hayden Carter collected a career-high 14 saves in a match that saw host Simpson earn an 11-1 victory.
Off until next week, the Keelhaulers' road swing will continue next Friday (Oct. 24) and Sunday (Oct. 26) at Stanton and Westcliff, respectively.
