Cal Maritime shines at Pacific Union College Invitational

ANGWIN, Calif. -  To help runners accelerate their growth on the course, and to help everyone better prepare for the upcoming Cal Pac Cross Country Championship, head coach Francisco Gomez and members from both teams took a brief trip to Angwin last weekend to participate in the Pacific Union College Invitational.

Taking place on the Pioneers' rugged on-campus course, the trio of Kye McKeown, Andrew Scannell and Caleb Silbernagel were the first three to finish the men's 6k course, creating an all-Keelhaulers podium in the process.

In this head-to-head dual, Cal Maritime also recorded the second-fastest result on the women's side thanks to Anjali Sharma.

Cal Maritime will rest and prep throughout the upcoming weeks before heading to Fresno for the league's year-end postseason meet. This event will take place at Woodward Park in Fresno, California, on October 30.
