Season starts with sixth-plance result at the Stump Invitational

DAVIS, Calif. - California Maritime Men's Cross Country traveled to Davis to take part in the Stump Invitational hosted by UC Davis. The Keelhaulers finished sixth in their first meet of the season.

Patrick Smith led the Keelhaulers with a 30:26.636 time over the 8K course. Smith finished 62nd. Colby Allen finished 63rd with a time of 30:46.337. Michael Lapinski ran a time of 31:28.038 finishing in 64tj place. Noah Harder finished 65th with a time of 32:29.539. Kye McKeown rounded out the Keelhaulers with a time of 35:46.840 and a 66th place finish.

The host Aggies won the team competition with 16 points.

The Keelhaulers will race again next weekend as they travel to Lodi for the Pacific Invitational hosted by the University of the Pacific. The race will take place at Micke Grove Golf Course at 5:30 pm.
