
CSUM secures second place in second meet of the season

ROCKLIN, Calif. – California Maritime Men's Cross Country hit the road to Rocklin to take part in the Jessup Invitational hosted by NCAA Division II member Jessup University. The Keelhaulers finished second in the team competition
Tyler Jung led the Keelhaulers with a 30:35.8 time and an eighth place finish. Krossley Kirkpatrick finished ninth with a time of 30:36.2. JP Pyrkova finished with a time of 30:36.3 and a 10th place finish. Michael Lapinski finished 11th with a time of 31:07.5. Noah Harder finished with a time of 31:39.8 and a 12th place finish. Andrew Scannell finished 13th with a time of 33:07.0. Kye McKeown finished with a time of 33:21.3 and a 15th place finish. Max Hilton finished the 8K course with a time of 39:56.0 and a 20th place finish. Eli Lemos rounded out the Keelhaulers' contingent as he finished 21st with a time of 42:03.7.
The hosts won the team competition with 37 points.
The Keelhaulers will have a couple weeks off until their next race. The Keelhaulers' next race will be Friday October 11 as they will take part in the S.F. State Invitational. The meet is hosted by San Francisco State and will take place at Speedway Meadow at Golden Gate Park
