
Men’s cross country finishes 18th in Sunnyvale

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – California Maritime Men's Cross Country traveled to Sunnyvale to take part in the Bronco Invitational hosted by NCAA Division I member Santa Clara University. The meet took place at Baylands Park in Sunnvyvale.
Andrew Scannell led the Keelhaulers with a 29:53.4 time and a 208th place finish. Noah Harder finished 214th with a time of 30:07.3. Tyler Jung ran the 8K course with a 31:35.5 time and a 234th place finish. Kye McKeown finished 250th with a time of 34:17. Max Hilton ran the course in 40:14.4 and finished 264th. Elijah Lemos rounded out the Keelhaulers' contingent with a time of 43:18.3 and a 266th place finish.
Chris Olley of Pacific Distance Club won the individual competition. Cal Poly Distance Club won the team competition while the Keelhaulers finished eighteenth.
The Keelhaulers will travel to Fresno for the California Pacific Conference Men's Cross Country Championship. The championship will take place on Monday, October 28th.
