VALLEJO, Calif. – Expect an exciting night inside PEAC Main Gym on Wednesday: In addition to a 7:30 p.m. exhibition between Cal Maritime and Holy Names, the Department of Athletics will honor its Kennedy Cup champions at halftime of the inaugural The Watch – Gold Game of the year.

Not only will fans enjoy Riz Aliga's work as the resident DJ for the night, everyone is invited to a special meet-and-greet taking place inside the Auxiliary Gym, located across from the weight room on the first floor next to PEAC's main entrance, to celebrate this year's national title-winning crew.

On November 6, Cal Maritime successfully defended its Kennedy Cup title, won the John F. Kennedy Memorial Trophy for the fifth time in program history and became the sixth school to win consecutive championships since the regatta first took place in 1965.

On the court, women's basketball will square off against a Division II squad in its penultimate non-conference game. When UC Santa Cruz visits Vallejo for Sunday's 2 p.m. meeting, that is the last opportunity for the Keelhaulers to integrate new schemes, plays and adjustments since the team will not return to action until December 1, versus Saint Katherine, in both team's Cal Pac Conference opener.
