ROCKLIN, Calif. – Responsible for five of her team's 15 field goals, Jaz Novelli led all Keelhaulers with 10 points and Addison Alsbury finished with a team-high six rebounds in Wednesday's non-conference game at Warrior Arena, one host Jessup won by a 73-40 score.
This was the last official contest of 2024 for a CSUM squad that will play UC Davis in an exhibition matchup on December 28 — the only game on the team's schedule before it hosts Stanton on January 13 and 14 in the final events before Cal Pac Conference play commences later that week.
Playing without two key individuals due to finals-related reasons, Cal Maritime did match Jessup's scoring output in the last quarter.
In addition to Novelli, Alanis Sulivan shined from three-point territory by canning 3 of 5 attempts. Alsbury and Tiare Novero-Paaga each hit a shot from distance as the trio was responsible for all of the Keelhaulers' offense from distance.
