VALLEJO, Calif. – Women's rugby's inaugural regular season home game will take place on Saturday, February 22, when UC Santa Cruz visits Bodnar Field for a 10 a.m. matchup.

The Keelhaulers' foe is a familiar one since the Banana Slugs visited campus last December for a pair of exhibition games. Even though CSUM dropped both of these events, game were hard-fought with Cal Maritime unable to respond to late scores in each of those two contests.

Women's rugby will look to avenge these results on Saturday and preserve its undefeated record in the process after defeating Cal State Monterey Bay, 27-12, in a neutral-site game in Santa Cruz.

Bodnar Field will host numerous games within the upcoming weeks since Cal Maritime will spend most of the regular season at home.

Following this week's game against UCSC, the Keelhaulers will head to Saint Mary's on March 1 to battle CSUMB. The following two games will see women's rugby battle Saint Mary's (March 15) and UC Santa Cruz (March 22) since league play involves four teams playing one another in a round-robin format at sites that rotate throughout the season.
